She married Delbert Isaacson June 19, 1948, at Jessie Lake Baptist Church near Talmoon, MN. Dassel was their lifetime home, where they raised four children: Dale, Karen (Jon) Benson, Bryan (Sandy), and Bruce (Connie).

She liked to play crocinole and Wii bowling, where she was a champion at Lakeside Apartments. She was also a wonderful baker. Her blueberry pie and strawberry jam were tops.

Lorraine was a very hard worker, and would do anything for anyone who needed her help.

As a member of Gethsemane Lutheran, Lorraine was a quilter and member of WELCA. She always enjoyed Bible study with Lynda Peterson, and the worship services with Pastor John Peterson and Lynda, Pastor Keith Carlson, and Pastor Doug Johnson at Lakeside. Daily devotions were never missed.
