She was born Oct, 23, 1928, in Plato, the daughter of Emil and Erna (Debner) Mueller. Bernett was baptized Oct. 26, 1928, at her home, by the Rev. Otto Eyrich; and confirmed March 29, 1942, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Watertown, by the Rev. Karl Rudolph.
