Lucille M. Kelm, age 90, of Watertown, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted.
Her funeral service will take place Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Rev. Paul Krentz officiating. There was visitation Thursday, Nov. 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church, and visitation will continue Friday, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Chaska.
Casket bearers will be Brad Widmer, Jake Kelm, Hunter Rappel, Mason Rappel, Bryan Malz, Mike Sloneker, Kent Haugen, and Eric Nassen.
Honorary casket bearers are Angela Malz, Laura Sloneker, Jessi Rappel, Jamie Kiefer, Emily Lewerenz, Emma Malz, and Ella Malz.

Lucille was born July 16, 1928, in Upsala, the daughter of Nels and Elsie (Yonke) Person.
She was united in marriage to Roy P. Kelm Oct. 28, 1949.
Lucille loved being around her grandchildren, taking in all of the activities that they were involved with. She liked going to garage sales and auctions, always trying to find a deal.
Lucille had a collection of ceramic chickens, displayed throughout her home. Some of her favorite pastimes were going to the casino, playing cards, especially poker and rummy; listening to her record collection, and playing solitaire.
In her younger days, Lucille and Roy would make their way to the Chaska Band Shelter in the park to enjoy listening to whatever band was playing.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kelm; brothers and sisters Floyd (Betty) Person, Gordon (Pat) Person, Loretta (Earl) Kelm, Evelyn (Sonny) Birr, Ellen (Charlie) Kelm, Doris (Albert) Bruggenthies, and Raymond Person; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Al Haller, Chet and Joyce Lobitz, and Wayne and Dee Kelm.
She is survived by her loving family: son Don (Mary) Kelm of Delano; daughter Sandy and fiancé Kent Haugen of Montrose; grandchildren Jessi Kelm-Rappel and significant other Eric Nassen, Angela and Bryan Malz, Jacob Kelm and significant other Jamie Kiefer, Laura and Mike Sloneker, and Brad Widmer and significant other Emily Lewerenz; great-grandchildren Emma and Ella Malz, Hunter and Mason Rappel, Sydney, Shelby, Nicholas and Olive Sloneker, and Kylee and Jacob Jr. Kelm; her sister, Aggie Haller, of Fridley; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
