Daniel Thomas Krienke, age 61, of Hutchinson, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, at his home.
He was born March 2, 1957, in Winsted, the son of Herbert and Elizabeth (Casey) Krienke. Daniel was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie.
Daniel received his education in Lester Prairie, and graduated from the Lester Prairie High School in 1975. He continued his education at Ridgewater Community College in Hutchinson.
Daniel held employment as a manager with Econo Foods in Hutchinson, retiring in 2003.
He enjoyed playing with his dog, Angel, and watching movies. Daniel was very active, always walking. He loved to spend time with family and friends, and lived life to the fullest. He was known as a “talker” and very outgoing. He loved God.
Daniel is survived by his children: Celeste Krienke of Newberry, FL, Gideon Krienke of Hutchinson, and Gabriel Krienke of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren Elizabeth McDonell, Hannah Bergs and Kyo Krienke; and siblings Bonnie Johnson of Plato, Brenda Tucholke of Lester Prairie, and Donald Krienke of Browerville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Herbert Krienke.
A memorial service took place Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Family and friends gathered one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements were with Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson.
