Kenneth F. Scarrella (Ken), age 72, of Delano, died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, with family and friends at his side, after battling liver cancer.
There will be a celebration of Ken’s life Saturday, Dec. 29 at 1 p.m. at Delano High School Performing Arts Center, 700 Elm Ave., Delano.

Ken was born April 18, 1946, in St. Paul, and graduated from Harding High School in 1964,
He worked in the financial industry and the automotive industry in the Twin Cities, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Denver, retiring in 2010. Ken also worked for Stahlke Bus Company in Delano, where he lived since 2000.
Ken was a proud Italian who loved spending time with family, golfing, hockey, football, and the New York Yankees.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Scarrella.
Ken is survived and will be greatly missed by his mother, Lena Scarrella; sons Thomas (Susie) Scarrella, and Joseph Scarrella (loving friend Madeline Mowrey); daughter Cayman Scarrella (loving friend Nicholas Gansen); brother Steve (Sheila) Scarrella; grandson Paul (Molly) Scarrella; nephew Christopher (Shannon) Scarrella; niece Catherine (Matt) Steele; and former spouse and good friend, Loni Hedtke.
