Paula Jean Bergquist, age 61, of Howard Lake, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Mercy Hospital of Coon Rapids.
A memorial service will take place Friday, April 12 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 5460 63rd St. NW, Maple Lake; with visitation beginning at 1 p.m., prior to the service. Interment: will be at Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Cokato.

Paula was born Jan. 23, 1958, in Litchfield, to John and Mavis ( Anderson ) Driggers. She grew up first in Cokato, and then Maple Lake, graduating from Maple Lake High School in 1976.
After high school, Paula moved to Howard Lake. She married Ben Bergquist Jan. 23, 1982. To this union, two daughters were born; Ashley and Amanda.
Throughout her life, Paula did many things, including doing daycare for a time, and working in retail.
She enjoyed crafts, reading, riding motorcycle, and taking pictures. Most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren.
Paula is survived by her daughters, Ashley (Andy) Schwindel of Annandale, and Amanda (Adam Loch) Bergquist of Howard Lake; former husband, Ben Bergquist of Howard Lake; grandchildren Payton, Lucas, and Noah Schwindel, and Xander and Lennox Loch; parents Jim and Mavis Lemieux; sisters Jonae (Harlan) Zander, and Kaye (Jack) Wittern; a brother, Les Lemieux; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Driggers; and brothers Derek and David Driggers.
