VerDella Fautsch Obituary – 9/2/2019


VerDella Elaine Fautsch, age 89, of Watertown, passed away Monday, Sept. 2, 2019.

Memorial services will take place Monday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Sunday, Sept. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, continuing Monday, from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.

Arrangements are with the Iten’s Watertown Funeral Home.

VerDella was born May 18, 1930 to Clyde and Haddie (Johnson) Carlson in Hollywood Township, rural Watertown.

She was an employee of the Bremer Bank in Watertown for over 40 years.

VerDella enjoyed spending time at the cabin and with her family.

She loved to read, and liked the color red, cardinals, Christmas carols, carousel horses, Dala horses, frogs and butterflies, bunnies and bears, and anything Swedish.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Vernon Fautsch; parents Clyde and Haddie Carlson; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dean Edlund, Raymond Fautsch, Lorraine (Everett) Zabel, Arlene (Clarence) Klick and Dorothy (Cyril) Meuleners.

VerDella is survived by her sons, Mark Fautsch, and Craig (Jackie) Fautsch; six grandsons: Nick Fautsch, Derek Fautsch, Dr. Drew (Crystal) Fautsch, Christopher (Samantha) Fautsch, Matthew (special friend Melissa) Fautsch, and Tony (special friend Grace) Fautsch; step grandson Nick (Raika) Lucente; nine great-grandchildren: Lacie, Mason, Reed, Aleah, Eliot, Ava, Beckett, Charli and Via; a sister, Lois Edlund; and a sister-in-law, Elmorina Fautsch.
