Pamela Carryl Kadlec, age 68, of Lester Prairie and Howard Lake, passed away at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Center Saturday, March 30, 2019.
There will be a memorial service Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 124 Maple Street North, Lester Prairie; with visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
Pamela was born July 9, 1950, in Minneapolis, to William and Carol (Palmar) Swenson. She grew up in Brooklyn Park, and graduated from Osseo High School.
Pamela continued her education to become a certified nurse’s assistant.
In July of 1985, Pamela married Keith Kadlec at Chaska. The couple made their home in Watertown, then Montrose, and finally Lester Prairie.
Pamela worked first as a switch board operator in downtown Minneapolis, then as a nursing assistant at Elim Nursing Home in Watertown for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, interior design, and decorating; and was an excellent hostess and seamstress.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Keith, of Howard Lake; daughter Kristina (Alan) Lohrke; and granddaughter Sofia, of Minneapolis; parents Tony and Carol Brunello of Maple Grove; and brothers David Brunello of Lakeville, Antonio Brunello of Colorado, Scott Brunello of Arizona, and John Brunello of Wayzata.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jade Swenson; and a brother, Steve Brunello.
