Thomas Francis “Doc” Madden, age 70, of Delano, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, after a strenuous battle with cancer.
Tom practiced as a dentist in Delano for 37 years, and touched many lives.
He lived a full and active life, hunting and fishing whenever he could, mostly with one of his sons by his side.
Tom was preceded in death by his son, Patrick; his parents, John and Irene Madden; and his mother- and father-in-law, Vernon and Doris Molzahn.
He leaves behind his treasured wife of 44 years, Sharon; and his five sons, whom he was so proud of: Joe (Heather), John (Jen), Dan, Mike (Delissa), and Dave (Serena).
Tom also leaves behind six beautiful grandchildren, who always brought a smile to his face; his loving siblings, Patricia Lynam, Kathy (Jeff) Clark and Mark Madden; nieces and nephews; dedicated friends; and beloved dogs.
His family will carry on with his love and memories.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, followed by interment in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Delano.
There was visitation Monday, Nov. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m., continuing Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m., all in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Arrangements were with the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
