Rose A. O’Fallon, 84

Rose Annie O’Fallon, age 84, of Annandale, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, at the Annandale Care Center.

Memorial services will take place Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at Annandale United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Baker officiating. Sharon Planer will provide music for the service. Private burial will take place at Swan Lake Cemetery, Dassel.

There will be visitation Monday, Aug. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, continuing Tuesday at the church, one hour prior to the service.

Rose Annie O’Fallon was born March 5, 1935, in Dassel, to Gustaf and Esther (Nelson) Freeman. She attended Maynard Lake School, and graduated from Dassel High School in 1952.

After graduation, Rose went to work as a secretary for several firms in the Minneapolis area, finally retiring from Johnson & Johnson in 1990.

Rose was united in marriage to her classmate and best friend, John O’Fallon March 10, 1981, in Reno, NV.

Rose enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards, politics, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John, of Annandale; daughter Laurel (David) Geesey of Cokato; son, Randall Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; step-son, Mike (Stacy) O’Fallon of Eden Prairie; step-daughters, Patricia O’Fallon, and Mary (Bill) Lindemann, all of California; sister, Dolores Hogberg of Annandale; two sisters-in-law, Betty Freeman of Annandale, and Sandra Freeman of Dassel; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lawrence, Earl, and Clifford Freeman; sisters Fern Freeman and Grace Hendrickson; sister-in-law Louise Freeman; and brothers-in-law Warren Hogberg and Gerhard Hendrickson.
