Celina Bertha (Quast) Polkoski, age 94, of Winsted, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019.
A memorial service will take place Monday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. at The Chapel of St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted. Father Michael Doyle will be the celebrant, and Alice Nowak is the organist.
Inurnment will be in Spooner Veterans Cemetery, Spooner, WI.

Celina was born April 10, 1925, in Winsted, the daughter of August S. and Anna K. (Neumann) Quast.
She graduated from Holy Trinity High School.
Celina worked for many years in office work/accounting for a business machine company near Chicago, IL.
She retired to Spooner, WI, and returned to Winsted in 2007.
Celina enjoyed playing cards, and was a good cook.
She is survived by sisters and brothers, Irene Rozeske, Paul (Bonnie) Quast, all of Winsted, Raymond (Millie) Quast of Waconia, Bernard (Margie) Quast, Marian (Roger) Moy, all of Winsted, Laurina Zajicek of Glencoe, Josephine (Tom) Hagstrom of Blaine, Jan Stock, and Rose Lindenburger, both of Omaha, Clarence (Elaine) Quast of Ocala, FL, Lois (Bill) Goehring of Grand Rapids, and Diane Smith of Chattanooga, TN; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Polkoski; her parents; and by sisters and brothers, Marcella Wegner, Elizabeth Wendolek, Leander Quast, Caroline Quast, Donna Kenyon, and by an infant, Joseph Quast.
