Joseph Schaust Obituary – 1/18/2019


Joseph John Schaust, “Joe,” age 69, of Delano, passed away peacefully after a long illness Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Waconia.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano.

Visitation will take place one hour prior, from 10 to 11 a.m. in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church.

Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Peter Catholic Church.

Arrangements are by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.

Joe was born July 1, 1949, to Joseph and Lorraine (Kittock) Schaust in Watertown.

Joe was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was an avid sports fan and a strong follower of local high school sports. He also had a special place in his heart for his cats.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine; siblings Mary Peterson, Pat Honebrink, Tom (Marlene) Schaust, Rick (Tammy) Schaust, Larry (Joyce) Schaust, Vicki Schaust; eight nieces and eight nephews.
