Beverly Schuette Obituary – 4/20/2019

Beverly Jean Schuette, age 84, of Watertown, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019, at The Legacy in Delano.

She was born July 28, 1934, in Delano, the daughter of Edmund and Irene (Ramthun) Zabel. Beverly grew up in rural Delano, the oldest of three children.

She was united in marriage to Willard A. Schuette July 15, 1953, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Montrose, by the Rev. Marvin Hanke.

After they married, Willard and Beverly started their family life in Watertown, where they raised four sons.

Through the years, Beverly was a loving stay-at-home wife and mother, dedicated to involvement in many years of school activities with her sons. Additionally, she worked in the school hot lunch program at Christ Community Lutheran School in Watertown, where she lovingly shared her cooking skills with a multitude of students for many years.

Throughout her life, her involvement with grandchildren, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, church choir, gardening, quilting, and travel occupied her time. Beverly’s travels took her and Willard to all 50 states, and Europe, Australia and New Zealand, to mention a few.
