Thomas Michael Stresnak, age 85, of Minneapolis, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, and private interment will be at Bohemian National Cemetery in Silver Lake.

Thomas was born Nov. 8, 1934, in Minneapolis, to Clarence and Elizabeth (Olsen) Stresnak. He grew up in Minneapolis, and graduated with the class of 1953 from the St. Thomas Military Academy.
Following high school, Tom went straight into the workforce, in sales. He briefly enlisted in the Army Reserves, as well, during this time.
Tom met his future wife, Mary Pessek, while working in sales. They were united in marriage Oct. 14, 1961, at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Minnetonka. The couple was blessed with four children.
Tom cherished his family and faith. He was also an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Laurel and Hardy movies. After his retirement from Letts Company, he was able to spend more time up north at the family cabin in Longville.
Tom is survived by his wife, Mary; sons Jerry, Paul (Denise), and Robert Stresnak; daughter Ann (Mark) Mirsch; grandchildren Elizabeth, Ben, and Margaret Johnson, Walter Mirsch, and Tyler (Gloria) Stresnak; one great-grandchild, Mya Johnson; a brother, Richard (Jane); and many other relatives and friends.
