Dollie L. Vogeler, age 84, of Hamel, passed away peacefully Friday, May 31, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN.
She was born July 16, 1934, in Garrison, KY, to Arthur Jackson and Nancy Lucy Marlowe.
Dollie married Lyle V. Vogeler in 1952, and they had four children.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Dollie enjoyed visits with family, neighbors, and friends.
In addition to homemaking, she will be remembered as a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, business assistant for Lyle’s Enterprises, Inc., and self-taught guitarist.
Dollie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lucy; her brothers, Joseph, Ivan (Joanne) and Homer Marlowe; her sisters, Emily (Bob) Darrow, Elizabeth (Wayne) Horsley, and Berneida (George) Ashworth; and her brother-in-law, James Ashworth.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lyle; her children: Kathy, Keith, Stephen, and Mark (Jennifer); her grandchildren: Mercedes and Amelia Bergman, and Abigail, Sara, Greta and Karl Vogeler; her brothers, Odis (May) Marlowe, Lonnie (Marcella) Marlowe, and Derwood (Gwen) Johnson; sisters Janice Ashworth, Paulina (Rock) Hughs, Rita Marlowe, and Teresa Cija; sister-in-law Faye Marlowe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service took place Wednesday, June 5 at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. (prior to the service) at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano. Interment was in the Delano Public Cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
