Lois Marie (Lindekugel) Carlson, age 89, passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at the Annandale Care Center.
Lois was born June 13, 1931, in Eatonia, Saskatchewan, Canada to Otto and Clara (Buettner) Lindekugel, the first of three children. Eventually, the family moved to Minnesota, and settled in Renville County.
She graduated from Hector High School in 1949, and met her future husband, William Carlson. They married in 1952, and were blessed with eight children.
William and Lois lived in several Minnesota communities until retirement, when they settled south of Annandale.
Lois is survived by her children, Sonja Carlson of St. Paul, Joyce Miceli of Annandale, Rebecca (Lee) Titrud of Cokato, Laurie (Larry) Smith of Howard Lake, Melodee Pineiro of Bedford, TX, Craig Carlson of Hutchinson, Richard (Amy) Carlson of Dassel, and Paul Carlson of Spicer; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Rhoda VanderVoort of Moorhead.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William; her parents; sister, Leila; great-grandson, Grey; and son-in-law, Angelo.
A celebration of life will take place later this year.
The Cremation Society of Minnesota is handling the arrangements.
