Mabel Ingebrigtson, 79

Mabel Hilda “Toby” Ingebrigtson, age 79, of Delano, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020.

She was born March 2, 1941, to Arnold and Hilda (Laabs) Stier in Belle Plaine, MN.

Toby graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1959, and went on to complete nurses training at The Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis.

Toby was united in marriage to Carl R. Ingebrigtson June 20, 1964, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine.

Toby was active in her church, volunteering, and working for local daycares. She was a passionate animal lover and always said she cared for “all of God’s creatures.”

She and Carl were original founding members of Light of Christ Lutheran Church in Delano. She sang in the church choir and enjoyed many types of music.

Toby was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and brother, Myron Stier.

She is survived by her two children Carl Michael Ingebrigtson, Kathryn (Michael) Hagglund; four grandchildren Kelly, Jenna, Tanner, Hannah; two great-grandchildren Daimon, Seth; and brother Manley Stier; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Spending time with her family and friends brought her endless joy, and her grandkids meant the world to her.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services will be held.
