Mrs. Lois Bollman Pankake, age 82, of Fernandina Beach, FL, passed away at her home Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020.
Lois was born in Litchfield, MN, the daughter of the late Melvin Adolph and Lillian Mattson Bollman. She was a member of the Dassel High School class of 1956.
Lois retired from Sears, Roebuck & Company after 20 years as a PBX operator. In 2013, she moved from Summerville, SC to Fernandina Beach, to be near her daughters.
Lois loved playing bingo and line dancing. She enjoyed listening to country music and solving crossword puzzles. She had an abiding faith in God and could be heard, in the face of difficult times, saying, “Don’t worry, give it to God.”
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Gale Pankake and Ron DeLisle.
She leaves behind her three daughters, Kathy Pankake Rumph and her husband, Edward of Lexington, SC, Cheryl Pankake, and Brenda Pankake Danielson, both of Fernandina Beach; a son, Joseph Pankake and his wife, Kimberly of Easley, SC, as well as nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Lois was laid to rest beside her husband, Gale Pankake in a graveside service Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. at Plantation Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner, SC.
