Gregory Paul Parochka, age 52, of Kelliher, MN, formerly of Watertown, MN, went home to eternal life. Greg entered this world Aug. 4, 1968, and departed on Aug. 4, 2020. He passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle-deer collision.
Greg was born in Watertown, to Ermaline (Parochka) Schlumpberger, and the late Paul Parochka. He was baptized as an infant at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown.
Greg lived life to the fullest. He could walk into a room and have everyone laughing within minutes. He loved his Harley bikes, yearly trip to the Sturgis Bike Rally, old western movies, music, and playing his drums.
Greg also enjoyed all things outdoors and the great north woods. His family and friends will miss his sense of humor, his big movie star smile, and his passion for life. They loved him dearly and will always be grateful for the time they had with him. Blessed be his memory and may he rest in peace.
Loving family members include his mother, Ermaline and Eldor Schlumpberger; siblings, Marleen (John) Pulkrabek of Mulvane, KS, Steve (Renee) Parochka of Mayer, MN, Anita (Jim) O’Connell of Delano, MN, Audrey Parochka of Winsted, MN, Stan (Teresa) Parochka of Mayer, Nick (Julia) Parochka of Vero Beach, FL, Nancy (Dennis) Adickes of Montrose, MN; and Mitch Parochka of Watertown; numerous nieces; nephews; and other relatives; and his special friend, Lynn; and his beloved cats and dogs.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Paul; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
A private Memorial Mass took place at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2020. Inurnment was in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Shooks, MN.
There was a public visitation Friday, Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kelliher.
