Sharon Lee Robinson passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at The Estates nursing home in Delano. She reached the age of 82 years 11 months.
Sharon was born Feb. 9, 1937, to Hubert and Elma Robinson.
Growing up on the family farm, Sharon had many chores, including working with chickens and dairy cows.
She was baptized and confirmed in her faith at First Presbyterian Church in Howard Lake.
Shortly after finishing her education at Howard Lake Public School in 1956, she set out to be a live-in nanny and housekeeper in the Twin Cities area. Sharon mostly worked in two households all her working life.
The last five years, because of declining health, she lived at The Estates nursing home.
Sharon enjoyed crocheting, knitting, coloring books, and she specially enjoyed coming back to the farm to visit family.
She is survived by her two brothers, Terry (Yvonne) Robinson of Howard Lake, and Sheldon (Diane) Robinson of Hutchinson; and two nephews, Dan and Phil Robinson.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and all her uncles and aunts from both sides of the family.
A memorial service and interment will take place at a later date.
