Debra Gallup, 63

Debra Lynn Gallup, age 63, of Dassel, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at her residence.

Debra Lynn Gallup, the daughter of Ronald George and Helen Marion (Satter) Gallup, was born July 12, 1958, in Killeen, TX.

In 1959, the family moved to Fairbanks, AK, where they resided until 1960, when they moved to Minneapolis, MN. In 1972, the family moved to Brooklyn Center.

In 1996, Debra moved to Dassel, where she has since resided.

She was baptized in Minneapolis and confirmed at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Debra graduated from the Brooklyn Center High School in 1976, and later graduated from Adelphi Business College in 1985.

Debra was a born caregiver. She loved to take care of her family and if anyone needed help, she was there to lend a hand. She moved to Dassel to take great care of her parents.

She loved her nieces and nephew, enjoyed spending time with family for holidays and special get togethers. She enjoyed playing cards, poker, and Texas hold ‘em.

She was everyone’s mom and grandmother. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Debra is survived by her siblings, Curtis (Christine) Gallup of Dassel, Randal Gallup of Dassel, Susan (Stuart) Moore of Montana, and Brian (Brandy) Gallup of Dasse; as well as nieces, nephews, and many great- nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Helen Gallup, niece Jessica Gallup, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
