Marilyn Jean Landberg, age 87, of Delano, MN, formerly of Crosby, MN, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
She was born June 28, 1934, to Emanuel “Murphy” and Alice (Erickson) Olsen in Minneapolis.
Marilyn attended and graduated from Edison High School.
She went on to marry the love of her life, Jack Landberg, and to this union seven children were blessed.
Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aun,t and friend.
Marilyn loved to collect antiques, read recipe books, and cook for her family.
Her career was that of homemaker, and she was an active member of Crosby Antiques and Collectibles for 30 years. She was very involved in her community and her church. She and Jack loved to travel and experience different cultures.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and sons, Richard, John, and Mike.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Diane) Landberg, Krister Willette, Jodell “Jody” (Greg) Gustafson, Andrea (Barry) Anderson; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Pearson, Annette Olson, and Susan Mussell.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial took place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, St. Peter’s campus in Delano, MN.
A gathering of family and friends took place from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the Mass in St. Martha’s Hall of the St. Peter’s Campus.
Inurnment was in the Bay Lake Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
