Ernest “Ernie” J. Lemmerman was born June 28, 1933, in Watertown, MN, the son of John and Lizzie (Lange) Lemmerman.
Ernie was united in marriage Oct. 28, 1955, to Mary (Gerber) Lemmerman at the Evangelical Free Church in Mound, MN.
Ernie was very involved in church his whole life. He was in a bowling league for many years. Ernie and Mary were part of a card club. He loved to play all kinds of card games. Ernie was a carpenter all his life with his own business, but first and foremost was a devoted family man.
Ernie loved to teach his kids and grandkids all the fun stuff that he loved to do. He loved to fish and go swimming in the lake. He taught them all to shower in Pickerel Lake, because the water was so clean. Ernie would take the grandkids tubing behind the boat. They would decorate the boat and be in the boat parade on the 4th of July. He loved to take walks, to hunt, and to be with his family.
