Spencer William Lofrano, age 81, of rural Delano passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, peacefully at his residence.
A time of gathering will take place Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a story sharing at 6 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Eric Zaske will be giving a blessing and leading the story sharing. A celebration of life will take place in spring.

He was born May 2, 1939, in Minneapolis, the son of Joseph F. and Elizabeth M. (Jaworski) Lofrano.
Spencer W. Lofrano and Marlene J. Kargel were joined in holy matrimony, Feb. 17, 1962. God blessed their marriage with three children.
Spence was employed many years as an electrician and estimator. In later years, he had his own business, JKS Repair and Control.
He enjoyed being outdoors and many activities; hunting, fishing, bowling, music festivals, pepper and tomato gardening, cooking, motorcycling (Gold Wing), and camping with his grandchildren. He was also always up for a good campfire or game of cribbage.
Spencer is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marlene J. Lofrano; three children, Kurt (Carol) Lofrano of Delano, Cheryl (Kevin) Zaske of Maple Lake, and Joe (Jenny) Lofrano of Red Wing; grandchildren, Dan, Katie, and Lisa; David, Maria, and Anna; Jessica, Arianna, Kendra, and Bradi Jo; great-granddaughter, Blakely; other relatives, and many friends.
