Lorraine R. Otto, 96

Lorraine R. Otto, age 96, of St. Louis Park, MN, died Jan. 13, 2021, at The Glenn Hopkins in Hopkins, MN.

She was born in Winsted Township, McLeod County, MN, Nov. 25, 1924, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Pint) Otto.

Lorraine lived and worked most of her adult life in the Twin Cities area. She was associated with Our Own Hardware (pricing technician for 52 years) and Do It Best Corp. (retiree) for more than 75 years. She retired from Our Own Hardware in 1996.

Lorraine was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and senior club in Richfield, MN, and was a member of the Cho-ralaires singing group since 1997.

She enjoyed playing cards, golf, and working word puzzles.Lorraine also enjoyed watching her favorite religious shows and sports teams on TV, especially the Vikings, Twins, and golf.

Lorraine is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her niece, Joanne (Richter) and Robert Neis; their son, Timothy; daughters, Kristin and Shaun Jami-son, and Melissa and Pasquale Mignano; and granddaughters, Katrina and Anika Jamison were her family with which to celebrate birthdays, holidays, special occasions, and outings for 25 years. They also took on the role of caregivers.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, and all her siblings: John, William, Cecelia Corr, George, Margaret Lee, Hildegard York, Eleanor Richter, Benedict, and Henry.

Church services will take place at St. Peter’s, with inurnment at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Winsted, MN, at a later date.
