She spent her career as an elementary school teacher, primarily at St. Mary’s Elementary and Morningside Elementary, and as a librarian at Sharp Elementary in Brownsville, TX.
In 1976, she married John “Jack” Corr of Winsted, MN. They lived in Brownsville until 2011, when they retired and moved to Alamo, TX, and Annandale, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Margaret (Maggie) Corr, and brother-in-law, Patrick Corr.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
