Harry L. Poliwoda, 95, of Delano, MN, passed away, a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa.
Harry worked for Cargill for his career until retirement.
He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting with his family.
He had a passion for working on cars and using his mechanical skills to help his family with whatever they needed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Delores; and son, Duane.
He is survived by his children, Ken (Cindy), and Deb Bermel; grandchildren, Jeff (Holly) Poliwoda, Kiersten Poliwoda, Aaron Poliwoda, Jaclyn (Curt) Dumonceaux, Bethany (Nick) Orton, Dan Wandersee, and Jim (Megan) Wandersee; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Irene Purvis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, St. Peter campus in Delano. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass in St. Martha’s Hall of St. Peter campus. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery in Delano.
