Kenneth B. Lantto, 81, of French Lake Township, MN, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services took place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, French Lake Township. Pastor Jerome Nikunen officiated.
Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery, French Lake Township. Visitation began at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the church.
Kenneth Benjamin Lantto was born Aug. 19, 1942, in St. Cloud, MN, to Benjamin and Elma (Forare) Lantto. He grew up in French Lake Township, along with his brother and sister.
He attended country school at Wright County Public School District 138. He then attended Annandale High School, graduating in 1960. In 1973, he obtained his bachelor of arts degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University.
Ken went to work for the Minnesota State Auditor’s Department before working at the Wright County Auditor’s Office. When Ken retired from the auditor’s office, he joined his brother on the farm.
Kenny enjoyed working and was always looking forward to chatting with folks. He enjoyed tending to the cattle and going for drives in the countryside.
Ken is survived by his sister, Janet Gambrino of St. Cloud; brother, Frank Lantto of French Lake Township; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Elma, and brother-in-law, Thomas Gambrino.
