Anita Olson, 85, of Delano, MN, passed away peacefully Friday, April 14, 2023, a kind, sweet mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and aunt.
She is preceded in death by husband, John; daughter, Leslie Ricker; and son-in-law, Cary Swenson.
She is survived by daughter, Lori Swenson; sons, Steven (Connie) and Scott (Shelley); nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
While residing in Delano, she was employed at General Mills for 29 years and then retired to Arizona, where she made many good friends.
She loved her grandchildren, gardening, playing cards, and traveling. Her last six years were spent living with dementia.
Very special appreciation goes to the staff at the Wealshire of Medina. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she received there.
A family gathering and celebration of her life will take place in June.
