Hutchinson Medical Center has extended hours for Urgent Care. Extended hours mean better access to the immediate care you need. And because these services are part of HMC, you can be assured the care you receive will be the highest quality.

Urgent Care Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 8 a.m.-7 p.m.;
Fri. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; & Sat. 9 a.m.-Noon

What is Urgent Care?

Urgent Care treats medical problems that aren’t emergencies, but might require care within 24 hours. It can be general health issues as well as sports injuries. Some examples include fevers, cuts, earaches, sprains, strep throat tests and pregnancy tests.

Competent Care Providers

HMC has a qualified staff of Urgent Care providers. When you arrive, the coordinator will ask about your symptoms and assess the urgency of your problem. A care provider will then work with you to provide the best treatment for your needs.

Serving Your Urgent Needs

During regular business hours, you can expect to receive care for just about any urgent need you may have, including lab tests, allergy shots and X-rays. During our extended hours (Mon.-Thurs. 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Fri. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sat. 9 a.m.-noon) you will have access to immediate care for minor injuries and illnesses.

Comprehensive Medical Care

Since patients are generally seen in the order they arrive, your wait will vary with the number of people waiting to be seen at that time. Our goal is to work quickly, but thoroughly, to make sure each patient receives the best quality care. If the wait seems long, remember, we intend to be just as thorough with you!
